Art @ The Funk House "What I Must Do-An Exploration of Ephemeral Pleasures" New work by Jacqueline Pichardo----Exhibit: through-Sept 29, 2010. Jacqueline is a former UNLV student currently working towards a  B.F.A. at Indianapolis' Herron School of Art and Design. In her latest body of work Jacqueline seeks to explore the psychological and emotional transformations that are a product of interactions in the tangible world. 1228 S. Casino Center Blvd. LV, NV 89104 702.678.6278  www.thefunkhouselasvegas.com

Brett Wesley Gallery is proud to be presenting Fluid, featuring paintings by New York artist, Peter Fox. Opening and artist reception will be Thursday September 2, 2010 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 1112 S. Casino Center Blvd. This event is free to the public. Foxs paintings dizzy the eye with a kaleidoscope of harmonious color, formed of an acrylic/gel medium that he carefully pours from the top of the canvas. Intense layers of paint overlap and push off the canvas, nearing the brink of the third dimension. Foxs kinetic paintings transcend their medium and the relationship between color, texture and form.
